Well, it took a while to stop the bleeding after getting them down him (my blood, not his), but I sort of expected that, considering what it took just to get him into the cat carrier to go to the vet. I really understand why the vet lets the owner do it, rather than doing it at the office. Since it was puncture wounds, I washed *really* thoroughly with antibacterial soap, and was sort of happy they bled as much as they did. Next time, I want a chain mail glove.
