Mobile, Alabama has been filling up with water now. We don't even hear about much of the other hard hit areas other than New Orleans, and that's so over the top it's beyond belief. It's like a WWII refugee nightmare. Andersonville was a pleasant vacation spot. It sounds like FEMA is running in circles dithering, while people are dying and are being herded into concentration camps...I mean "assembly areas" and abandoned, with no one allowed in or out. Or maybe those plans that were leaked in the '90's, of how FEMA would deal with civil unrest by rounding people up into "assembly areas" and keeping them there under force of arms, are actually the plans they are following now. And now, like something out of "Voyage of the Damned," the buses that are heading for Houston are being turned back. So sorry, all full. No room at the inn.
Sylvia found a news story that was removed almost as soon as she'd read it where someone from FEMA said it was everyone's own fault, for staying behind instead of evacuating. Sure, blame the victims. Furthermore, some people simply *couldn't* get out, for various reasons.
HOW CAN THIS BE HAPPENING?? THIS IS AMERICA, MY COUNTRY, MY PEOPLE! I WANT ANSWERS ON HOW THIS CAN HAPPEN!
