Tradeoffs and priorities

I decided not to get some really nifty swashbuckly new clothes, after all. Hmm, for the price of the "equestrian coat" I could get a wool rug for next to the bed. I would wear the coat now and then, but the rug would always be under my toes, getting in and out of bed. For the price of a skirt and blouse, I could get the wood covered wastebasket for the kitchen, and get rid of the dirty, ugly plastic thing that is always annoying me. Hmm, I call these "environmental upgrades," and they can be important to one's outlook. Okay, good bargain. I have enough clothes, anyway.
