Depending on the weather model they're using, they say the snow level is going to be somewhere between 2000 feet and sea level. I'm going to Angels Camp for the Calaveras Celtic Fair. Sierra foothills. I'd say the likelyhood of snow is about 75%. We're going to be playing English Civil War in some fairly authentic conditions. At least I won't be dropping my match for my matchlock, because my fingers are so cold, this time--I have my snaplock Dutch carbine! Nothing like carrying around burning rope when you're festooned with a dozen small wooden grenades, and can't hang onto it. I am glad for my more advanced technology.
I can't wait to see how the Picts turn up. Somehow, I don't think that the blue will be woad, this time.
