Hmm, bad reaction to flatscreen

Well, I hope it's just the brightness. I've turned it waaay down, just now. I haven't had this reaction since the early '90's, when I finally found an eye doctor who resolved my problem of eye pain and nausea with special computer glasses with special filters, among other things. I'm really sensitive to some frequencies of light (blue/UV range), and they screw up my eyes and brain functions. (There is also evidence to suggest that these sorts of sensitivities are linked to certain learning disabilities.)

Other than that, I'm thrilled to find that I now have this amazing new PC on my desk. (Okay, a Linux box would be nice, but hey, this is work. I need it for Word and Excel and Powerpoint docs.)
